Carlos Andrino

I’m Carlos Andrino, a culinary professional with a deep passion for both cooking and wine, I’m from Spain (Madrid) and I have developed over years my skills in the gastronomy industry in Spain, France, Italy and Sweden. My journey in the kitchen has been built on a commitment to quality, creativity, consistency and a love for crafting dining experiences. I specialize in creating dishes that tell a story, focus in fresh and seasonal ingredients and in this case, I would like to be able to recreate an approximation of Spanish cuisine from my point of view at Nomi restaurant.

Alongside my culinary expertise, my love for wine has grown into a refined skill set, allowing me to expertly pair wines with food. Therefore, I decided to open my own wine importer back in 2020. The wines of La Becaria are a key element of my understanding about gastronomy. This wine selection is the result of years of dedication and research, and I believe they perfectly embody the same values I hold in the kitchen—precision, quality, and passion.

La Becaria wines allows me to elevate my dishes even further, creating pairings that enhance both the food and the wine. Through my work, I like to create experiences that highlight  both food and wine. Each meal I prepare is an opportunity to showcase the seamless harmony between these two passions, and La Becaria Wines plays an integral role in that journey. Salud!!!
